About Me

I’ve always enjoyed building things. Today, I build organic growth systems.

That might mean architecting an SEO strategy, developing a reporting framework, designing a content program, creating an AI search initiative, or building the processes that help all of those pieces work together. Whatever the project, I enjoy taking complex problems and turning them into clear, measurable solutions.

I’ve always been happiest in environments where there’s something new to learn.

That’s what first drew me to journalism. I loved the idea that I could spend my career exploring unfamiliar subjects, asking questions, and turning complex ideas into something useful and accessible for others. Those same instincts eventually led me to SEO. At its core, the work isn’t all that different. It still begins with curiosity. It still requires understanding an audience. It still depends on organizing information in a way that people can actually use.

As a student, I was the editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper, which I redesigned from the masthead to the back page. I received the prestigious Harvard Book Award from the Harvard Association of San Diego, and later attended Boston University as a Trustee Scholar, a full, four-year academic scholarship. In college, I interned for Boston Magazine, wrote for the BU Daily Free Press, and spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as the Capitol Hill Correspondent for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, while interning at the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Between journalism and SEO, I spent nearly a decade as a professional bartender. I became fascinated by the craft itself – first learning classic cocktails, new variations, and how they all connect; then understanding how spirits are distilled, exploring wine production and brewing techniques, and learning the stories behind them. Looking back, I wasn’t just making drinks. I was doing what I’ve always enjoyed doing: diving into a subject until I understood it well enough to explain it to someone else.

That’s why SEO has been such a natural fit.

Search never stands still. Every algorithm update, every new AI platform, every technical challenge, and every client presents a different puzzle to solve. The landscape is constantly evolving, which means there’s always another opportunity to learn, improve, and build something better. That’s the part of the work I enjoy most.

Over the past seven years, that mindset has led me to build much more than SEO campaigns. I’ve built an agency SEO practice from the ground up, developed reporting frameworks, created scalable workflows, launched an AI visibility auditing application, helped establish AEO service offerings, and directed content strategy across legal, multifamily, SaaS, healthcare, and local service industries. Along the way, I’ve written hundreds of SEO resources, designed dozens of analytics dashboards, and helped organizations grow through thoughtful strategy rather than short-term tactics.

I enjoy creating frameworks that make complicated work easier to understand, easier to execute, and easier to measure. Whether that’s a project management process, a reporting dashboard, a content strategy, or an AI search initiative, I like building things that continue creating value long after they’re finished.

As search continues to evolve, that’s exactly the kind of work I hope to keep doing – building systems, solving problems, and helping businesses connect with the people looking for them.

The best work begins with curiosity, grows through thoughtful systems, and succeeds because it’s built to last.
